Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and RODGER JAPANESE FOOD LLC ("we", "us"), the operator of getmygoodluck (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Subscription & Refund Terms, which form part of these Terms.

1. For entertainment purposes only

All horoscopes, readings, birth charts, transits, lucky hours, lucky colors and numbers, scores, guides and other content on the Service are provided for entertainment purposes only. Planetary positions are calculated from astronomical data, but astrology is not a science and we make no claim that it can describe your personality or predict events.

• Content is not medical, mental health, legal, financial, investment, relationship or other professional advice, and is not a substitute for it.
• Do not rely on the Service to make decisions about your health, safety, money or legal matters.
• The Service is not a crisis or emergency service. If you are in danger or thinking about harming yourself, contact your local emergency number right away.

2. Eligibility and your account

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
• You can sign up with an email address or a username. We do not verify email addresses, so make sure yours is correct: we use it for receipts, reminders and account notices.
• Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• Give accurate birth details; readings are calculated from what you enter.

3. The Service

The free plan includes your Big Three (Sun, Moon and Rising signs) and a daily reading based on your birth chart and the day's planetary positions. Premium adds the Daily Lucky Guide. We may add, change or remove features. If we remove a core Premium feature during a paid period, you may cancel and ask for a pro-rated refund for the unused time.

4. AI-generated content

Parts of Premium, such as the written Daily Lucky Guide, are generated with artificial intelligence from your chart and the day's computed facts. AI-generated text can be inaccurate or unexpected. It is entertainment, like everything else on the Service.

5. Subscriptions, billing and cancellation

Premium is a subscription that renews automatically at the price shown at checkout until you cancel. A trial converts to a paid plan when it ends unless you cancel before then. You can cancel online at any time in Account settings; you keep Premium until the end of the period you paid for. Prices, trials, renewals, refunds, price changes and failed payments are covered in full in our Subscription & Refund Terms.

6. Emails

If you give us your email, we send your daily reading at the time you choose. You can change the time or turn daily emails off in Account settings or with the unsubscribe link in any daily email. We also send account and billing notices, such as receipts, trial and renewal reminders, which are part of the Service.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for anything unlawful, or to harass or impersonate anyone;
• copy, scrape, resell or redistribute content from the Service, other than sharing your own readings for personal use;
• interfere with the Service, probe it for vulnerabilities, or reverse engineer it;
• create accounts with false information or for someone else without their permission.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, its software, text, designs and trademarks belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own non-commercial purposes. You keep the rights to the information you give us and let us use it to provide the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Third-party services

Payments are processed by our payment provider under its own terms. We never see or store your full card number.

10. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent the law allows, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any decision you make based on content from the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$50. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you; nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Indemnity

You agree to compensate us for reasonable losses and costs arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service, except to the extent caused by us.

13. Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time in Account settings; this also stops any subscription from renewing. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms, with notice where practical. Sections 1 and 8 to 14 survive termination.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve it informally within 30 days. Any dispute will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, except that either of us may bring a qualifying claim in small claims court. If you are a consumer in the EU, UK or another country whose laws give you mandatory rights, nothing in these Terms takes those rights away, and you may bring a claim in the courts where you live.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. For material changes we will notify you by email or in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new Terms. Price changes to your subscription follow the Subscription & Refund Terms.

16. General

These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. We may transfer these Terms to a successor that takes over the Service; you may not transfer them without our consent. Not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it.
